Well, as you can see, this is my first post. I really have no subject for this one as I am just trying to get a feel for this.
There's a lot of stuff in my head that I want to blog about so right now I really don't know where to begin.
Like I said in my profile, I am a conservative so you know there will be a lot of the usual conservative stuff, but when I say I am conservative, I mean CONSERVATIVE!!! I make Limbaugh and Hannity look like liberals on a lot of issues. (Well, that may be stretching it a bit but you know what I mean.)
I guess if I had to label myself, I would say I am a paleo-conservative and a constitutionalist. I believe in a VERY limited role for the federal government and I feel we have tampered with the United States Constitution in ways that have hurt this country. We need to minimize government, slash the hell out of the budget, (and I have some radical ideas on how to do that), make drastic tax cuts, and restrict all three branches of government to their constitutionally defined roles.
The problem right now though is this; neither the Republican nor Democratic parties have the political guts to do any of this. Not the way it needs to be done. Look, as far as I can tell, the two major political parties in America are just like my hands. Each of my hands has four fingers and a thumb. On the ring finger of my left hand is a wedding ring and each hand has a few scars and what-not, but other than that they are pretty much the same. That's how I see the Republicans and Democrats. They ARE the SAME!! For the most part at least. And neither is worth wasting a vote on. There are very very few true conservatives left in the Republican party and the Democrats, well, I'll save that rant for later. But what it comes down to is this; neither party really cares about the people. They could care less about you or I. It's all about power for them. Neither offers solutions. I do.
I KNOW how to fix this country. The question would be, is America ready to make some radical changes. That is what it will take. Radical, drastic changes to the way we are used to doing things. A new way of thinking and a new way of doing business. Everybody laments about needing change but NOTHING changes. Regardless of who is in the White House.
As this blog grows, you will learn my plan for the restoration of America which includes the formation of a new political party and everything from the solution to the social security dilemma to a radical restructuring of government resulting in enormous savings to the American taxpayers.
